The making
The log
Sheesham is bought as whole logs at the Chiniot timber market, then rested for a season so the grain settles before a chisel ever touches it.
The chisel
A handle is roughed with a mallet, then finished with gouges no wider than a fingernail. There is no CNC in this workshop.
The brass
Collars and ferrules are sand-cast locally, chased by hand, then turned to fit a single stick — never a batch.
The polish
Lacquer goes on thin and slow. The mirror finish on our canes is friction and patience, not spray.

Inside the atelier
A symphony of raw textures
Indian Rosewood. Dense, deep-grained, takes a mirror polish. The classic Chinioti timber.

Collectors
“The horse head is sharper in person than on video. Three months of daily use and the lacquer still looks wet.”
Winter drop · 12 pieces only
Ninety hours of carving per stick, numbered and signed on the ferrule. When the twelve are gone, the pattern is retired.
